There are some solutions for controlling the PMDG 737NGX in assorted threads in the User Contributions subforum. I cant get a grip on the keyboard parameters in FSUIPC. See if there are parameters which do that. I would guess (it has to be a guess because i don't use any PMDG aircraft) that the knob is normally turned by left or right mouse clicks. That same document should tell you what sort of parameters you can use. The facility you are using is designed to send custom controls - I assume you got the number from the PMDG document listing all of those.
